Daily Eucharist & Bible Enthronement

The First of August 2022 was a special day in the history of our institution. It was on that day that we introduced daily Eucharistic service for our students. The new endeavour was a joint venture of all the institutions, namely St. Antony’s School, and St. Aloysius School in the church campus. Our Parish Priest Rev. Fr. John Antony took keen interest in the new initiative and encouraged all of us. The students, parents and teachers were motivated well before hand by telling them about the spiritual benefits of having daily Mass. So they all accepted the new venture with great interest and enthusiasm. 

On 02 September 2022 is yet another great day for our school staff & students. Our Archbishop Peter Machado along with campus priests celebrated Holy Mass for the staff and students of all the schools in the campus. Before the Holy Eucharist, the Bible was taken in a procession to the altar. The Archbishop received the Bible from the students and garlanded it and blessed everyone. In his homily he insisted on reading the Word of God everyday and getting by heart some important passages as they are young. He encouraged the students with his inspiring words and asked us to sow the seeds of faith when they are still young. After the Mass Sr. Virginia the co-ordinator of Bible Commission spoke about the significance of the Bible. Sr. Anjali honoured Archbishop with shawl and had a memorable snap with him. At the end of the program the Archbishop congratulated all of us for the new venture and also expressed his happiness about the regular catechism classes and timely exams organised in the school.
